The initiative
About NeuroCura
A founder-led research initiative at concept stage. It connects questions, study design, and the people who would have to build the work. It does not provide care.
Nigel Marsh, MBA
Nigel Marsh is the Founder & Executive Director of NeuroCura, an independent neurological research and innovation organization focused on advancing new approaches to brain injury, neurological impairment, and functional recovery.
He leads NeuroCura’s strategy, research partnerships, hospital outreach, and development of a global network of researchers, clinicians, data scientists, and technology partners.
A central focus of NeuroCura is the development of a more precise neurological phenotyping model. Rather than grouping patients primarily by diagnosis, NeuroCura is exploring how individuals can be characterized by the present-day structure, physiology, and functional capacity of their surviving motor and sensory networks. The objective is to identify biologically meaningful patient subgroups and better understand which emerging therapies, rehabilitation strategies, or delivery technologies may be most appropriate for different patterns of neurological injury.
NeuroCura is exploring areas including advanced neuroimaging, neurophysiology, federated data and AI, focused ultrasound delivery, regenerative medicine, targeted therapeutics, and other technologies with the potential to support neural repair, plasticity, and functional recovery.
Commitments in this draft
- Scientific challenge before claims. Investigators are invited to find the weak assumptions.
- Adults with lived experience should help define what counts as a meaningful result, when a study exists. This site is not that study.
- Recruitment, consent, and safety would belong to qualified teams under institutional review. None of that is in force here.
What is not stated
This draft does not name a corporate owner, a hospital, or a sponsor. Those facts are unconfirmed for publication. Institutions and collaborators are omitted for the same reason.
NeuroCura does not offer treatment or medical advice, and it is not presented as a clinic or an open study.
