Infrastructure collaboration

The study would go to the data.

NeuroCura does not hold a data network, a software platform, or an installed equipment stack. This page is the request for help to design one that leaves hospital data at the hospital.

The contemplated model

A federated model is contemplated. In that idea, hospital data would remain at the hospital. Approved methods would run in the institution’s own environment. Anything allowed to leave would be an aggregate a site had already agreed to share. No hospital, warehouse, or product is named, because none is confirmed.

The first technical milestone in view is a rehearsal with synthetic data, at two imaginary sites, to see whether a shared schema and a repeated analysis can work. Real patient records are not part of that rehearsal.

Three kinds of help

  1. Equipment.Vendors of imaging, measurement, or related devices can say what a future observational design would actually need on site. Nothing on this page is a purchase, a shortlist, or an installed system.
  2. Software infrastructure.Informatics teams can help judge whether a shared data language and local execution are feasible. Public standards such as OMOP and tools such as i2b2 are examples a design might evaluate. They are not adopted here.
  3. AI.Methods for grouping similar descriptions may be worth a later, supervised experiment. They are not a diagnosis, not an autonomous decision, and not a model this site claims to run.

Conditions on any future build

  • Each hospital would decide access, approvals, and what may be disclosed.
  • Identifiable clinical records would not be presumed to move to NeuroCura.
  • Security, retention, and audit would have to be agreed before any pilot that used real records. This website does not claim those controls exist.
